This lovely song draws us deeper into the precious and reassuring reality that Jesus knows everything about us, and He calls us by name. Even before the moment He knit us together in the womb, His call was at work shaping and preparing us so that we might know and love Him for all eternity. Our knowledge of Him, the ways in which we love Him, and the work He has for us to do are all part a calling that is perfectly fitted and unique to us – and without which, something would be missing in His eternal purposes. As we still our hearts to seek Him, let’s listen to anything that He would say to us.
