Where and how would You meet with us, Lord Jesus? A Reflection from Luke 22:7-15
Where and how would You meet with us, Lord Jesus?
A Reflection from Luke 22:7.15
A Reflection from Luke 22.7-15
‘Where do You want us to prepare for the Passover feast?’ Peter and John asked Jesus. (Luke 22:9)
‘Go to the city . . . or wherever I show you to go, and circumstances dictate that you should be . . . Take note of anyone who is carrying a pitcher full of water – or whatever other sign I alert you to. Do not hesitate or be slow to follow that leading: it will lead you to the next section of your journey.
Then follow on from where that person’s involvement in your journey ends. I will not fail to bring you to that special Upper Room, that is already furnished and waiting for You. There make ready to do whatever it is that I have given you to do – be it outwardly replete with Kingdom leading, or seemingly mundane and marked more by thorns than flowers.
Whether overflowing with joy, or requiring you to draw on Me for perseverance, remember that I have eagerly desired to share this time with you, coming right into your midst to hallow this season, and to continue My purposes for your life.’
